This coffee comes from Yirgachefe in southwestern Ethiopia. Yırgachefe is famous for one of the highest quality coffees in the world, which is achieved thanks to the warm tropical climate, fertile soils and high altitude above sea level. Plantations here are located at an altitude of more than 2,000 m above sea level. The height allows Yirgacheffe coffee to be categorized as Strictly High Grown (SHG) / Strictly Hard Bean (SHB).
This means the berries ripen more slowly, giving the tree extra time to deliver nutrients and develop a vibrant flavor.
Many years of history and traditions of local farmers allow
to grow coffee naturally without the addition of chemical fertilizers, which makes it organic and environmentally friendly.
The Adorsi processing station was established in the village of the same name in Aricha in 2018
by Testi trading company. The station is located at an altitude of 1900-2100 m above sea level and serves about 800 farmers in the region.
Tracon Trading has started exporting coffee
coffee exports three decades ago and
now has premises with an area of 2790 square meters. m., designed for coffee processing. Among them are two farms and a processing station with 12
standardized tanks for fermentation and more than 360 drying beds. Tracon built a basic and
invested several million crowns in
drilling a well for water to make it clean and safe.
