Wanrich Coffee is a family company founded in 2015. In the first years, the coffee trees on the family plantation of Jane Kamau's husband did not bear fruit well, but at one of the local agricultural exhibitions, the woman met representatives of the Coffee Research Institute and enlisted their support for further development. Jane began to receive help from the Coffee Research Institute on the most effective varieties to plant, follow a tree care calendar, and learn more about the market. ‎

Later, she also completed a coffee export course. In 6 years, it was possible to increase the harvest on the farm by 50 times! Jane is currently a board member of NORT, a women's group working to create a central processing station for farmers in the region. ‎
